Biography
Barbara Browne, MD is the Medical Director of Stroke Rehabilitation at Magee Rehab and has been an attending at Magee since 1992. Dr. Browne graduated from Oberlin College and received her medical degree from Medical College of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Browne completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Medical College of Pennsylvania and in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Browne is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine and has subspecialty certification in Brain Injury Medicine.
Dr. Browne’s areas of practice include stroke rehabilitation, spasticity management and botulinum toxin use, geriatric care, brain and spinal cord injury, transplant-related rehabilitation, and general rehabilitation.
